I decided to add this recipe to my blog for 8 reasons:

1) It is the healthiest choice for all recipes that require vanilla aroma.

2) You only need 2 Ingredients.

3) It doesn't contain sugar or chemical additives.

4) As time goes by it gets even better.

5) Has a better result in flavor and aroma than the store bought one.

6) It lasts for many years.

7) The process is very easy.

8) It is much cheaper than the store bought vanilla extract.

This recipe is not a new one.

I don't know who discovered it but it has been on the internet for a long time.

2 months ago I started making my own homemade extract and I love it!

It smells great and the small amount I usually use in a dessert does not contain any carbohydrates.

Give it a try and you will not have to buy vanilla extract any more!

Homemade Vanilla Extract

• Ingredients:

240 ml / Vodka

4 - 5 / Vanilla beans

• Instructions:

1 With a sharp knife, carve along the vanilla beans without removing the seeds.

Just open the beans without cutting completely.

2 Place the beans in a 250ml bottle or in a glass jar with a lid.

3 Fill the bottle with vodka and close.

4 Place the vanilla extract bottle in a cool and shady place.

5 Shake lightly once a week or every second day or even every day.

After 2 months you can use part of the extract.

6 Refill the amount of removed extract with a corresponding amount of vodka.

The best result is after 6 months and even better after 1 year!

You do not need to change the beans!

They usually last several years.

After many uses you may realize that the intensity of the extract has weakened.

Then you have to remove the old beans and add new ones.

You must also make sure that they are always covered with vodka. If the opposite happens you should cut the vanilla beans into smaller pieces.

Make this vanilla extract and enjoy the vanilla aroma in your keto desserts!

Any nutritional analysis (macros) is based on an estimate calculated by the "Cronometer" application for the ingredients of each recipe. Differences can arise for a variety of reasons, such as product availability and food preparation. There is no guarantee that this information will be accurate.

I am not a nutritionist. If you have strict dietary needs I always recommend using an online nutrition calculator to calculate your totals using your exact brands you're using in this recipe as values may vary per brand.

Always keep in mind that ingredient replacements can change the outcome of the recipe in terms of taste, texture, appearance and of course macronutrients.
